This "Tiger Oak" hand-carved statement piece is a HUGE 8-foot wide, well-crafted oak sideboard that just blows you away. The "striped" grain in the wood has such a cool effect and the piece just maintains your attention as your eyes absorb one cool detail after another. NOTE the "tiger stripe" effects within the oaken wood grain! That is SO HARD to find now in original condition. Note also the original carved cabinet doors and accents, the zinc/tin-lined wine cooler cabinet drawer, the LARGE bar/sideboard top -- all combine to make this old beauty unique and distinctive. Find another one, as they say.
The construction is very solid, the design striking and the piece is ALL original, down to the eye-catching ORIGINAL hardware. No deficits! Crafted during the late 1800s or so, this "tiger" would be the TOP feature in ANY room. It came from a grand old home but has been carefully stored for many, many years.
