As seen in the pictures, this distinctively styled copper-lined magazine/smoking stand has very attractive "mid-century modern" elliptical lines. It comes from a New Orleans/Mid-Town estate. No damage whatsoever to the item, so it has kept well over the years. The pictures are complete and accurate. All original with everything in place. The photos are provided to demonstrate the A-1 condition of this old stand. I have dusted off & wiped down the item, but have not otherwise tried to clean it. Everything is original. The interior copper lining seems to indicate it was for a smoking purpose but it is really multi-functional. VERY cool piece.
MEASUREMENTS: 17 1/2" (or so) wide at the top & 25 1/2" tall & 11"(or so) deep. 100% all original. All of the joints, connections and working parts are in great shape.

VERY COLLECTIBLE or would make a great accent piece. I have no guess at its history, other than it comes from a New Orleans Mid-Town estate.
