As seen in the pictures, this distinctively styled wooden table has striking carved and gold-trimmed details, along with a one-of-a-kind multiple-marble top, captured in one unique rendering by the artisan. Trying to describe this knockout is gonna fall short -- it is AMAZING and HEAVY -- this is no "lightweight" piece. It would be well-suited as a library, parlor or sofa table.
The table is a LARGE piece of functional art, intricately constructed by the artist/maker with dozens of different marble exemplars woven into the top by the artist/maker. It comes from a New York estate and YOU WILL NOT SEE ANYTHING LIKE THIS ANYWHERE AND ANY SIMILAR OFFERINGS ON SITES LIKE FIRST DIBS ARE PRICED AT 3 OR 4 TIMES THE PRICE OFFERED HERE.
The table has weathered its journey well over the years. The pictures are complete and accurate. All original with everything in place. The photos are provided to demonstrate the A-1 condition of this artistic piece, which grabs your attention -- especially the decorative workmanship at every point -- really striking. I have dusted off & wiped down the item, but have not otherwise tried to clean it. Everything is original, and it appears unsigned.
MEASUREMENTS: 52 1/2 in wide, 32 in deep and 35 inches tall. 100% all original. All of the joints, connections, multiple marble top and decorative accents are in great shape.
