1880-1900 Quarter-Sawn Oak 5-Drawer Cash Register Stand -- ALL Original

This piece is an all-original late 19th Century-era oak cash register stand often used in stores of the period to showcase the register, often an ornate brass contraption. The stand had to be as nice as the register! Thus, it has detailed finishing on all sides.

The piece is 100% authentic and was used in in many settings around Port Hudson and St. Francisville over the years.

The hand-carved oak is quarter-sawn, the detail of the construction is carefully completed and the drawers works like a charm -- no issues. ALL done the "old, right" way.

The piece is HEAVY so the lucky buyer will have to bring some help to load.

SALE PRICE: $1,150

The photos are provided to demonstrate the condition of this unusual piece. It has the marks of that service BUT is still absolutely SOLID IN EVERY RESPECT.

I have cleaned out the contents, dusted it off inside and out but have not otherwise tried to clean it. Even in its antique condition, the quarter-sawn oak remains very attractive, the functionality is A-1 and the crafting of the piece is so, so solid.

MEASUREMENTS and DETAILS: This old display stand has very appealing proportions: 37 1/2" tall, 28 1/2" deep and 18 1/2" wide.

VERY COLLECTIBLE AND PRICED RIGHT. These are also unusual -- hard to find, which an online search will confirm.
