Antique Horsehair Buggy Blanket With Rare Glass-Eye Puppy Motif -- From Neville Plantation Barn in Port Hudson

This is a gorgeous and RARE horsehair buggy blanket from Neville Plantation in Port Hudson, LA with a "makers-mark" tag affixed to the rear which I cannot decipher. The buggy or sleigh blankets were once very common "back in the day." This particular blanket is LARGE -- 5' x 4'--and all of the colors and design issues are vibrant. But, the VERY COOL feature with this old blanket is the antique glass eye for the cute puppy in the center. Finding one of these plantation buggy blankets in this condition, WITH THE ORIGINAL GLASS EYE, is practically impossible now because they are rare.
The photos are provided to demonstrate the A-1 condition of this old blanket, which has only tiny distressed areas which require a good eye to even observe. NO moth, insect or vermin damage of ANY type. NO unpleasant odors or stains. NO holes or tattered edges.
MEASUREMENTS: The blanket measures roughly 5' by 4' with its original design elements mark boldly evident.
