We had a great sale at The Bennett House over the Father's Day Weekend -- our best numbers ever. We appreciated meeting all of our new friends and hope our customers who acquired some SENSATIONAL pieces enjoy them as much as we have. It was wonderful having my nephews, my sister and my Dad present as we chatted with our customers, told antique "war stories" and shared fellowship among folks who live for the enjoyment of all the old things with magnificent tales to tell. Remember, we have no "set" hours -- we open when we want to, close when we gotta but are usually around. OWNERCitadel Antiques is owned by Jim Clary, Jr. -- whose "real job" for the last 35 years has been as a trial lawyer and owner of ClarySuba & Associates -- a Baton Rouge law firm. Jim has been interested in antiques and history since the world was new. Over the years, this passion has resulted in a large personal collection of antiques and other rare items.
